Eventually a black statue is found buried in the field. The magi are unable to deal with it, but a local priest is able to destroy it with a blessing and holy water. The Other Risus is considered the most likely culprit.

Log #46: Eating Your Silverware, and Other Thefts
October 14-19, 1221

Various items start to go missing. The grogs seem to be involved, but claim it's an entirely internal matter. At one point Hufar acknowledges eating a silver spoon that had gone missing. Finally, the grogs promise to leave apologetic notes if they're forced to take things in the future. The matter is closed.

(The point of this adventure? I'm really not sure.)

"Maybe it's Bernengarius [stealing things]."
--Berengarius

"Are you a mole, weasel?"
"He says he's a ferret."
--Viator & Berengarius

"We're down to asking rodents. We're f*ing magi. This is so humiliating."
--Viator

"That one just claimed he ate my cutlery."
--Viator

Log #47: The May Queen Goes to War

The May Queen lures Albus from the covenant, takes him captive, and steals Risus' tree too. She further moves against the Vole Queen, sieging the Vole Queen's lair with an army of dark elves and trolls.

The magi get involved, and the fay Rahne agrees to help them. A tense showdown and combat occurs in the May Queen's realm, and Berengarius, Hufar, and Frangere together kill the May Queen. (The Moss Man escapes through the chakrum.) Berengarius names himself the new lord of this fay realm, and then gives it to Rahne.

Log #48: Trials & Tribulations
December 1, 1221-March 21, 1222

The High Court of Iberia (comprised of The Burning Emir, a djinn, The Shadow Man, a basque, The Lady of the Ebro, a fay, and The Angel Remiel) demand the magi's attendance for their recent slaying of the May Queen. Risus, Viator, Frangere, Berengarius, and Larissa are named as defendents. Intentio is named as the prosecutor.

The magi get the OK to attend the court from the Tribunal. There they are confronted by many of the people that they've met throughout the campaign. Antino, Char, the Lord of the Liminals, Rurk the [dead] swamp goblin, Gary Gremlin, Elisa the Beaver, Dux Aquil, and Berengarius speak for the prosecution. The Vole Queen and Lord Thom speak for the defense.

The defendents are eventually found not guilty. They are further instructed that if they find a new locale for the faeries to meet then the faeries will have to end their long-time enmity with the covenant.

Log #49: Mercury Rising
October 7-8, 1222

After months of searching, Aubrin has found a new location for the faerie meeting place, a glade hidden by magic that seems to contain a mockery of the covenant made out of mud and stone. It's a powerful place for magic and faeries.

The magi go to further scout out the area and find the remnants of the Cult of Mercury there. They've been living in this secluded place for who knows how long. After a bit of a fight, the magi convince them to join the Order. The magi them claim the glade for use by the faeries.

The High Council of Iberia arrives, and with them Durstos, the Unraveller. Durstos unravels the trods around the covenant and the High Council rebuilds them here, at this new location. A 7-story tower arises from the earth. Durstos is sent away, across the sea to the West.

All the faeries of the Ebro are now summoned and various contests occur to determine the strength of the faeries in this new place. A final meeting occurs in which the Four Lords of the Ebro proclaim that a new age is come upon the Ebro valley and swears eternal friendship with Prospectus Locus.

Each of the magi is given a boon: Bengarius receives a box-turtle shell from the Vole Queen; Viator is promised magical children by the Vole Queen; Larissa is given a faerie horse by the Vole Queen; Risus is given the power to talk to dead trees by Thom; Fraxima is recognised as a faerie lord by all; and Aubrin is told that he'll be welcomed into Arcadia when the time is right.

And finally we learn the future fate of all the magi.

Aubrin eventually leaves for Arcadia.

Drake eventually goes to join the Court of the Liminals as a High Councilor, taking his pet lions with him.

Forticulous eventually gets his fool head blown up

Viator creates many harmonious spells, and brings the Pax Viator to Spain. He has over 200 children.

Larissa becomes Prospectus Locus' liasion to the Goddess and eventually retires to her realm.

Berengarius continues to study rocks and chickens. He eventually makes the perfect chicken, turns her into a human (with a chicken head) and marries her. He becomes Berengarius the Big (later Bitter) Beetle, and his relationship suffers. Eventualy he is lost down the Nile, searching for beetles.

Risus becomes a demon hunter, leading an army of trees. He eventually disappears on the track of his own demon, but his trees return, saying that he was successful and will return.

The other notes I have on the future are largely unintelligible.

And thus ended the Prospectus Locus campaign.
