Kimberly & Shannon's New House!

Shannon & Kimberly's New House!

The three pictures here show the outside of our new (well, it's in escrow) Berkeley dwelling. It's located in south Berkeley, not too far from important shops such as Shakespeare's, Moe's, Cody's, Amoeba Music, and Mario's La Fiesta. The house is a 1906 Victorian (originally brown shingle, but now smooth stucco) which we speculate was built by cowardly San Franciscans fleeing the post-earthquake holocaust.

8/22/01. Well, it's not so new any more, but it's still our house. We'll get this page updated with pictures since we've moved in and a floorplan showing how we're actually using things ... sometime.

Left: Front view. The tall tree in the front is an Acacia. The second story windows with the red curtains open onto the Green Library. On the ground floor, the windows with the African print curtain open onto the Foyer; the large window hidden behind the tree opens onto the Living Room. The front door is on the right, behind the small pine. The For Sale sign, more visible in other shots, will soon be modified to say "Sale Pending".

Bottom Left: Here the Sun Room (Shannon's Study) on the east side of the house is visible. It almost looks like a separate structure.

Bottom Right: The stairwell takes up much of the west-facing wall, limiting the number of windows.

Way Bottom: The floorplans for the Ground Floor and the Second Floor can be clicked on for more information and photographs of specific rooms.
