Kimberly's Study

Kimberly's Study

View from Shannon's Study. This strangely-shaped room has numerous windows, including these two that look southward toward neighboring yews and acacias.

The only entrance to this room is through the Sun Room, which will be Shannon's Study, and it too has great light through windows facing in two directions. The house next door has fruited vines dangling along the wall some six feet or so from our east-facing windows, while the south facing windows overlook an extensive yard behind us.

This room also contains a bizarre closet which actually extends into Shannon's Study, though the door is in this room. We plan to eventually remove this closet to enlarge the Sun Room to give Shannon more work space and provide a clearer pathway into Kimberly's Study.

Looking Southeast. In this view, the odd shape of the room is more apparent. The east-facing windows (which appear to be part of the original sun porch) are visible on the left, as well as an additional south-facing window.

A Room with a View. The Algerian ivy will probably have to be torn out, but for the moment it lends a picturesque flavor to the view out one of the south-facing windows.
