The Living Room

The Living Room

The brick fireplace is the focus of this small room, but the large windows looking north toward the acacia tree and the street are another notable feature. Because the Entryway adjoins the Living Room without any doors or walls, this part of the house has an open, airy feel to it.

Another striking feature of this room is the beaded curtain at the entrance to the Strange Hallway. We plan to remove the beaded curtains, and perhaps eventually the hallway as well.

Looking East. The floor heating vent for the entire house is visible in the corner, just to the left of the fireplace. Notice also the infamous beaded curtain on the far right.

Looking Northeast. The wide windows looking out on the acacia tree and the street are behind the beige curtains. The uncurtained window on the far left looks into the Foyer. The small window on the eastern wall looks over the garage.
